Description

I put the secret on a sign under some blocks you can't break. Good try finding what it says.

We are given an IP address to connect to and the name of the challenge kinda points to what the address is for, and we are also told offline mode is off, but that doesn't help with the purpose of this challenge whatsoever, because offline mode just means that "cracked" clients are allowed to join. The hint is that we need to somehow find something that is under some unbreakable blocks.

So we join the server, and other than some people begging for the flag in the chat we see that we cannot break blocks in a relatively medium radius around the initial server spawn point, most definitely this is what it is called "spawn protection", which doesn't allow players to break a number of blocks near the location of the original server spawn.

My guess was that you just needed to use some kind of X-RAY or Freecam, so I quickly installed a X-RAY resource pack for 1.8.9 and re-joined the server, and turns out I was correct. After doing that, we are able to get the flag, which was a bit further from spawn.
